Our social scientists should solve all the problems in the study of social sciences guided by Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, and all their studies should be orientated to implementing the idea and intention of the party and the leader and contributing to the revolutionary practices.

The embodiment of Juche methodology, combination of theories and revolutionary practices and the maintenance of the principle of historicism provide the most correct way of developing social sciences based on the Juche idea and they are principled requirements for ensuring achievements in the study of social sciences.

The field of social sciences should set up all the issues centered on man and popular masses as required by the Juche idea and solve them in line with our people's demand and interests and to suit the specific conditions of our country.

The social scientists should plant their feet on their own land and look at the world and work hard to attain a high goal of developing our social sciences into the most scientific and revolutionary ones in the world and the best ones in terms of influence and practicability as indicated by Kim Jong Il.

They should surely put all the social sciences on the top level of the world in keeping with the revolutionary idea and theory of our party that hold the top position in the history of human thinking and display its superiority and vitality. What is important here is to clarify theoretically in depth the issues arising in the study of social sciences.

The social sciences should not just explain social phenomena or historical facts but promote social movement and historical development by clarifying their essence and laws governing them.
