The message sincerely wished the Lao government and people greater success in the struggle to defend the people's democratic system and build a prosperous country under the correct leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

The message expressed belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would grow stronger in line with the desire of the peoples of the two countries.
