Ex-President of Namibia Hopes for Development of Friendly and Cooperative Ties with DPRK

Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- Sam Njujoma, former president of Namibia and president of the South West Africa People's Organizational Party, expressed belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between Namibia and the DPRK would grow stronger in the future, too. He said this on Nov. 29 when he had a friendly talk with a delegation of the Workers' Party of Korea led by Ri Yong Su, department director of its Central Committee. The delegation is visiting the country to participate in the Fifth Congress of the South West Africa People's Organizational Party. He said the WPK delegation's participation in the Fifth Congress is of weighty significance. The South West Africa People's Organizational Party and the Namibian people are grateful for the sincere aid rendered by the WPK and the DPRK government and people, he added. |
