Present there were C. P. Mainali, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Party who is chairman of the national committee, members of the Political Bureau and the Central Committee of the Party and figures of organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people, organizations for the study of the Juche idea and the Songun politics and media.

The meeting discussed the issue of widely holding events including remembrance meeting, seminar, lecture, book and photo exhibition and film show dealing with Kim Jong Il's sacred revolutionary career and immortal exploits in Kathmandu and other areas on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of his demise.

It underscored the issue to carry on media special write-ups praising Kim Jong Il, who devoted his all to the cause of socialism, the cause of global independence and happiness of the Korean people.

A statement was adopted at the meeting.
