SL, which was enacted on Dec. 1, 1948, is an illegal one which imitated the "Maintenance of the Public Order Act" during the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule and copied the contents of the "decree" of the U.S. military government which bounded the independent right of the south Korean people to the iron chain of the military government, the article notes, and goes on:

It is a treacherous and anti-reunification evil law as it regards it as the legal precondition and starting point to extremely antagonize fellow countrymen and deny the reunification of the country. It is also an unprecedented law against human rights as it is endowed with the authority of suppressing and punishing at random all activities of those who do not meet the demand and interests of the fascist rulers.

It is peppered with provisions against human rights, nation and reunification which ruthlessly block everything ranging from national reunification, the vital supreme task of the Korean nation, to the elementary rights of man. It has been retrogressively revised as a tool of the puppet ruling quarters for keeping and intensifying the fascist dictatorial system and kicking off the confrontation with fellow countrymen over the past 60 odd years.

The Lee Myung Bak group's fascist suppression under the pretext of SL has reached the height.

The number of those arrested and imprisoned on charges of the violation of SL since the Lee group took office increased 350 percent as compared with that during the preceding regime.

The miserable reality teaches the south Korean people a serious lesson that in order for them to get rid of the grave yard of human rights and the fascist dark society and achieve the cherished desire for independence, democracy and reunification, it is necessary to abolish the medieval SL and wipe out the fascist gangsters trying to maintain the power by dint of it.
