He said:

I recollect with deep emotion the noble life dedicated by Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people, to the Korean revolution and global independence.

Kim Jong Il underwent in his lifetime all sorts of the bitterest hardships, which no one in the world has ever experienced, to bring prosperity to the country and happiness to its people and passed away on a train while making a ceaseless field guidance tour till the last moments of his life.

He formulated the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung as an integral system of idea, theory and method of Juche, comprehensively developed the Juche idea and put the dignity of the Korean nation and national power on the highest level.

He honorably defended socialist Korea, holding aloft the banner of Songun in the most trying period at the end of the last century and turned the DPRK into a single-minded politico-ideological power and powerful nuclear weapons state and satellite launcher.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un has successfully carried forward the sacred cause of Kim Jong Il and wisely led the Workers' Party of Korea and army and people of the DPRK in the drive for building a thriving nation and achieving national reunification.

The Korean people are sure to emerge victorious under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
