Pyongyang Folklore Park Introduced in Nigeria

Pyongyang, December 5 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted on its internet website an article titled "Pyongyang Folklore Park" on November 24. The article said that the Pyongyang Folklore Park newly built at the foot of Mt. Taesong is an open-air history museum comprehensively dealing with the long-standing history and splendid culture of Korea and another ground for people's cultural recreation. The park consists of the area for general education in history, area for the display of historic relics, modern area, area of folk village, area for folk games, etc., the article noted, and went on: It was built in such a way as to fully meet the architectural requirements under a well-regulated intensive system on the basis of the principle of historicism so that it may offer visitors an opportunity to learn about the history and culture of Korea at first hand. |
