The construction of the modern factory has laid a solid material and technological foundation for providing raw materials needed for the production of quality clothes, knitwear and hosiery while economizing huge labor and funds. It also made a fresh progress in developing the light industry of the country.

Present at the ceremony were Choe Yong Rim, Mun Kyong Dok and officials concerned, builders, helpers and employees of the factory.

A message of thanks of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was conveyed to builders, officials and helpers who performed feats in building the factory.

The message praised the builders, officials and helpers for having built another edifice in the Songun era by displaying popular heroism and matchless dedication.

An address for the completion of the factory was made to be followed by speeches.

The speakers said that the factory construction was completed, true to the last instructions of leader Kim Jong Il and thanks to the noble loving care of the dear respected Kim Jong Un for the people.

They called on officials and employees of the factory to keep the production going at a high rate.
