Chong Chingchi, manager of the Dombo Enterprise Company of Malaysia, and Hamid Reza Taragi, deputy general secretary of the Iran Islamic Coalition Party, were elected chairmen of the committees.

The committees decided to widely introduce the revolutionary life and undying exploits of Kim Jong Il and organize various political and cultural events on the occasion of the anniversary of his demise.
