The statement said:

Panmunjom is the place symbolic of Korea's division caused by foreign forces. It was here that the U.S. imperialists recognized their defeat in the Korean War and signed the Armistice Agreement and it is the place where socialism and imperialism stand against each other with arms.

One can hardly visit the place without matchless courage and bold decision because it is exposed to constant threat of the U.S. imperialist and south Korean puppet soldiers.

However, Kim Jong Il inspected the Panmunjom Mission without any fear of the enemies, demonstrating the ardent wishes of himself and all other Koreans to put the earliest possible end to the country's division.

The dear respected Supreme Commander of the KPA Kim Jong Un also inspected Panmunjom in March this year, striking terror into the hearts of the U.S. imperialists and south Korean warmongers.

It is our belief that Kim Jong Un will surely achieve Korea's reunification in the near future, true to the behests of Kim Jong Il.
