It said that Kim Jong Il was a brilliant Songun commander of Mt. Paektu who was born in a revolutionary family of Mt. Paektu and grew, hearing gun reports during the anti-Japanese war and the Fatherland Liberation War.

He was the great leader of the world revolution who successfully led the cause of Juche, Songun cause, instilling strength and courage into the progressives in their struggle for independence and unity.

The idea and cause of Kim Jong Il have been successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un, supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.
