She won three gold medals in the women's 63kg category, placing first each in snatch and jerk and total standing. She broke Asian and world records by jerking 136kg, thus being awarded the top woman weightlifter prize.

Earlier, Jo took two silver medals at the 2011 World Junior Weightlifting Championship.

Now she has come under the spotlight of weightlifting experts.
