The concours that took place from November 29 to December 5 drew more than 160 students and teachers of music educational institutions and artistes from the DPRK, Russia, China, Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine and Japan.

The concours was held divided into 8 sections including piano, orchestral musical instrument, singing and musical composition.

Ho Thae Hyok was highly appreciated by the jury by wonderfully representing foreign music that required high rendition skill in the section of orchestral musical instrument.

At the closing ceremony a certificate of concours winner was awarded to Ho and a performance of winners was given.
