Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un, who is identical to President Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il in idea, leadership and virtues, is thoroughly implementing the idea and line of the preceding leaders, the statement noted, adding:

The past one year witnessed a striking demonstration before the whole world of Kim Jong Un's invariable will to hold in high esteem the preceding leaders of the DPRK as eternal leaders of the party and the state and thoroughly carry out their idea and cause without the slightest concession and deflection and thus build a thriving socialist nation without fail.

He pursued benevolent and all-embracing politics with warm humanity and noble outlook on the people, winning admiration of all people. He, at the same time, foiled the imperialists' moves for aggression and met their challenges under the banner of Songun, thus making greatest contributions to protecting peace in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world.

The statement expressed conviction that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people would as ever dynamically advance along the road of independence, Songun and socialism under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, united close around him.
