Pyongyang, December 13 (KCNA) -- People from all walks of life in south Korea are critical of the Lee Myung Bak group as it drove south Korea into the worst political catastrophe and social chaos and brought the north-south relations to collapse by pursuing the treacherous politics and they are calling for replacing outdated politics with new one. Rodong Sinmun Thursdays says this in a bylined commentary. The situation prevailing in south Korea before the "presidential election" clearly indicates how ardently the people are calling for an end to the outdated conservative politics and how strongly they wish to see new politics, the commentary notes, and goes on: The "Saenuri Party" is a stumbling block lying in the way of realizing new politics in south Korea. It is as clear as noonday that the dictatorial forces dating back to the past era and war-like forces are targets to be eliminated for bringing about new politics. However, reactionaries of history never step down of their own accord. The 18th "presidential election" is a fierce showdown between new political forces and old political forces. It represents an acute struggle between forces for future and forces dating back to the past, democratic forces and dictatorial forces, the poor and the rich, forces for peace and those for war, and forces for regime change and those working hard to prolong the regime. Sure to emerge victorious in this showdown of history are the south Korean people struggling for new politics and new era, while meeting challenges of dictatorial forces with their concerted efforts. All those who want new politics in south Korea should unite as one, irrespective of faction, partisan interest, ideology and ism. |
