Successful Satellite Launch Makes Korean People Sorely Miss Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- With the successful launch of the second version of satellite Kwangmyongsong-3, all the people in the DPRK are now very grateful to leader Kim Jong Il for having turned the country into a full-fledged satellite manufacturing and launching state. In this regard, KCNA had interviews with people watching the launch-related videos on the large-sized electronic display at Pyongyang Railway Station. Ri Sun Yong, a citizen living in Rason City, said: "I am very pleased to hear the news about the successful satellite liftoff. The news made me sorely miss Kim Jong Il, who had made tireless efforts to bring this great national event to the people." Kim Tong Chol, another citizen living in Pyongsong City, South Phyongan Province, said: "The successful launch represents the DPRK's inexhaustible strength which was attained by General Kim Jong Il with his Songun (military-first) politics. Thanks to his patriotic devotion, the nation's dignity has risen to a higher level." The satellite launch has pushed servicepersons and civilians across the country into ardent yearning for Kim Jong Il, who dedicated all his life to the building of a prosperous and powerful nation. |
