Choe is visiting the homeland to participate in the memorial service for marking the first anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

She told KCNA she warmly hailed the successful launch of the second version of satellite Kwangmyongsong-3, a landmark event of historic significance in the development of space science and technology of the country.

She went on:

The successful satellite launch is the victory that demonstrated to the world the might of the great Paektusan nation.

At this emotional moment, I could hardly repress admiration at the whole life of matchless patriot Kim Jong Il full of patriotic devotion, who provided the eternal foundation for the prosperity of the country.

We keenly felt what a great deal he meant to us during the mourning days of December last year when people grieved over his death as a great loss to the nation with bitter sorrow and grief.

Kim Jong Il, who always found pleasure in the people's happiness, made the forced march of field guidance till the last moments of his life.

He was the incarnation of patriotism who devoted his all to the country and the people.

The feats performed by him will shine long along with Songun Korea.

Greatest patriotism is to uphold the leadership of Kim Jong Un with loyalty, true to the last instructions of Kim Jong Il.

We, overseas compatriots, have cherished the boundless reverence for Kim Jong Un, who is glorifying the dignity of the country with his matchless courage, pluck and original leadership.

He is wisely leading the people in the homeland all out for carrying out the last instructions of Kim Jong Il.
