The most distinguished in the undying noble feats leader Kim Jong Il performed all his life are the ideological and theoretical ones indicative of his extraordinary wisdom and energetic ideological and theoretical activities which will shine long in history, the article said.

He also performed great feats for the country and the nation by leading the revolution and construction with superhuman energy and boundless dedication with the noble mission and responsibility as the leader of revolution, it noted, adding:

Kim Jong Il, possessed of revolutionary obligation and morality as natural disposition, set a genuine example in realizing the cause of perpetuating the memory of the leader unprecedented in the history of human politics and thus made sure that the august name of President Kim Il Sung and his undying revolutionary career and noble feats shed their rays forever together with the eternal history of Juche Korea.

He, out of the strong will to realize the behests of the President for national reunification all his life, provided the historic north-south summits and saw to it that the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration were adopted during the days when he led all the fellow countrymen to achieve independence, peace and great national unity and thus opened up the June 15 era of independent reunification in which the noble idea of "By our nation itself" is applied.

Kim Jong Il, firm defender of socialism and independence, raised the international position and authority of the DPRK and made great contributions to accomplishing the human cause of independence through his energetic external activities for achieving the victory of the socialist cause, building a new independent world, realizing the world peace and stability and strengthening friendship and solidarity with the world people under the uplifted banner of independence against imperialism.
