Seminars on Feats of Kim Jong Il Held Abroad
Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Seminars on feats of leader Kim Jong Il were held by the Nigerian national committee for remembering Kim Jong Il and the Kampala City Committee of the Uganda National Resistance Movement and the Secretariat of the Pan-African Movement between Dec. 4 and 6 to mark the first anniversary of his demise.

Ibrahim Mantu, chairman of the Nigerian remembrance committee who is also chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association, said Kim Jong Il left the great exploits for guaranteeing the eternal foundation of socialist Korea and its bright future as a legacy.

Thanks to his Songun politics the DPRK became a nuclear weapons state unfazed by any nuclear threats of the imperialists and the Korean People's Army is demonstrating its might as a powerful army strong in idea and faith fully prepared for both offensive and defence.

The chairman of the Kampala City Committee of the Uganda National Resistance Movement said as Kim Jong Il made restless journey of Songun all his life, the DPRK is shining brightly as a socialist power in the world.

Osieno Stephen, executive adviser to the General Secretary of the Pan-African Movement, praised him as peerless brilliant commander of Songun who led to victory the socialist cause in the DPRK and the cause of global independence against imperialism.
