President of Cape Verde Hopes for Multilateral Exchange with DPRK
Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Jorge Carlos Fonseca, president of the Republic of Cape Verde, said he hoped for more active multilateral cooperation and exchange with the DPRK.

He said this when he met Kim Jun Gap, new DPRK ambassador to his country, on Dec. 6 to receive the credentials.

He wished the Korean people greater achievements in their efforts to build a thriving nation and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

He noted the friendly and cooperative relations between Cape Verde and the DPRK have a long historical tradition.

He said his country would never forget President Kim Il Sung and the Korean people who extended encouragement and positive support to his people in their struggle to achieve national liberation and build new society after gaining independence.
