Ivan Draxler, chairman of the Slovak Association for Supporting the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the friendship association.

The chairman said that he would conduct active work to widely introduce the DPRK to the Slovak people and make positive contribution to developing friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries.

Its inaugural ceremony discussed the issues of expanding the organization to broad social circles of Slovakia and of actively supporting the Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and achieving the country's reunification.
