DPRK's Successful Satellite Launch Hailed by Foreign Organizations, Personages
Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Russia and Ecuador issued statements on Dec. 13 to hail the successful launch of the second version of satellite Kwangmyongsong-3 by the DPRK.

The Dagestan Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy of Russia in a statement extended sincere congratulations to the Korean people on successfully putting the satellite in orbit.

The triumphant launch of the satellite showed well the big scientific and technological progress made by the DPRK, the statement said.

The launch successfully made just before the first anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il is the most wonderful gift presented to him, the great son of the Korean people.

The Ecuadorian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea, Canar Provincial Institute for the Friendship and Solidarity with DPRK of Ecuador and the Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People said in a joint statement:

The recent successful satellite launch, a great event which demonstrated before the world the scientific and technological potentials of the DPRK, is a brilliant fruition of the noble patriotic will of Kim Jong Il and the energetic leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

It is the pride not only of the Korean people but of progressives looking up to the DPRK as the fortress of socialism and the symbol of justice.

To slander the satellite launch of the DPRK is an encroachment upon its sovereignty from A to Z.

We extend invariable support and solidarity to the just cause of the Korean people to build a thriving nation and reunify the country under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, and Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League and chairman of the Bangladesh Self-Reliance Research Centre, released statements on Dec. 12 and 13.

They in their statements said that the DPRK successfully launched the second version of satellite Kwangmyongsong-3, demonstrating before the world the might and independent dignity of the country.

They denounced the U.S. and Japanese governments for taking negative stand toward the DPRK's satellite launch and the Western media for releasing distorted reports about the launch.
