Leader Kim Jong Il successfully embodied President Kim Il Sung's idea of attaching importance to arms, firmly bolstering up the nuclear deterrence for self-defence and winning one victory after another in the nuclear standoff with the U.S. He developed the DPRK into a nuclear weapons state and a satellite producer and launcher.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un who is carrying forward the Songun politics of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il led the liftoff of another satellite, demonstrating the national power of Juche Korea before the world.

We warmly congratulate the DPRK on its successful launch of satellite.

A secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said the DPRK's satellite liftoff is a striking demonstration of the firm faith and will of the army and people of the DPRK not to make any concession in the struggle for defending socialism true to the behests of Kim Jong Il.

He sincerely hailed the DPRK's liftoff of satellite, noting it is an auspicious event demonstrating before the whole world its advanced space science and technology.
