Candidate from "Saenuri Party" of S. Korea Urged to Resign from Candidacy
Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Minjok Thongsin, an internet paper of Koreans in the U.S., on Dec. 4 carried an article titled "Candidate Park Geun Hye should resign" contributed by its editor Son Se Yong.

The Lee Myung Bak regime and the "Saenuri Party" are censured by the south Korean people as targets to be judged and wiped out, the article said.

Their five-year-long stay in office is fraught with scandals and policies against democracy, peace and reunification, it noted, adding candidate Park Geun Hye is to blame for them.

Park has enjoyed illegal benefits of the "yusin regime" and become a hardcore figure who was granted privileges under the Lee Myung Bak regime, it said.

She, however, made all deceptive commitments, styling herself a "prepared woman president", it noted.

Worse still, she talked about "drain on resources" to the north, revealing her ignorance of the north-south relations, it said.

It called for certainly disbanding the "Saenuri Party" which has been deeply involved in scandals in the upcoming "presidential elections" in south Korea.

Park is not qualified to become a candidate, it said, stressing that the only way for her is to resign from candidacy.
