Whenever there is happy news or a signal achievement is made they would picture in their mind the image of the leader who dedicated all his life to the prosperity of the country and welling of the people.

This year witnessed many happy events and achievements in the country. Among them is the erection of statues of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang in April. Those achievements include Changjon Street, Rungna People's Pleasure Park, Pyongyang Folklore Park, Ryugyong Health Complex and People's Open-air Ice Rink newly built in Pyongyang, which were initiated by Kim Jong Il in his lifetime.

Seeing the events and achievements, the people sorely miss the leader, cherishing the belief that he is always alive in their hearts as the bright sun.
