A remembrance concert was given by the National Symphony Orchestra at the People's Theatre in Pyongyang.

The concert began with the orchestral prelude "Cantata to Comrade Kim Jong Il". At the concert the performers impressively represented the reverence of the Korean people for Kim Jong Il who provided the eternal foundation for the country's prosperity and the people's happiness and opened up a bright morrow of Korea of Songun with his boundless devotion.

Female solo "We Will Follow You Single-mindedly" and orchestral music "Footsteps" let the audience keenly realize that the history of the sun is being given continuity thanks to the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Remembrance concerts also took place in various provinces.

The working people, agricultural workers, members of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea and youth and students in different parts of the country held oath-taking meetings. At the meetings they firmly pledged to make dynamic efforts for successfully carrying out the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, true to the behests of Kim Jong Il.

At the fine arts exhibition in North Hamgyong Province the visitors deeply cherished their reverence for Kim Jong Il, viewing the art pieces reflecting his greatness and noble personality.

Remembrance meetings were held in different parts of the country to hear from those persons who had the honor of being received by him and those related to his revolutionary activities stories about his endless journeys for field guidance and legend-like stories about the loving care shown by him for officials and other working people.
