Yousef Al Amiri, chairman of the Kuwaiti Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, referred to the fact that Kim Jong Il passed away on a running train on his journey for field guidance on December 17 last year. He went on: Kim Jong Il enforced Songun politics even under the international situation where high-handed and arbitrary practices were rampant, turning the DPRK into a politico-ideological and military power which no one dares provoke. Saber Ballul, head of a department of the Political Faculty of University of Damascus of Syria, said the great ideological legacy left by Kim Jong Il serves as eternal guidelines and a banner of victory indicating the road to be followed by the Korean people in their general drive for building a thriving socialist nation and achieving a final victory. Kim Jong Il is always alive along with the Workers' Party of Korea leading the general march of the Korean people, he noted, adding: It is one of his biggest exploit that he put forward the Juche idea and Songun idea as an invincible treasured sword for accomplishing the cause of independence and successfully embodied them.
