There took place seminars, remembrance meetings, lectures, round-table talks, film shows and book and photo exhibitions in Nepal, India, Benin, Uganda and Malaysia and by the Secretariat of the Pan-African Movement between Dec. 6 and 11.

Om Sharma, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and general secretary of the Nepal Journalist Association, said that Kim Jong Il was the kind father of not only the Korean people but the world progressives including the Nepali people.

The president of the Socialist Party of Benin praised Kim Jong Un who is possessed of perfect personality, qualification and far-sighted insight of a modern statesman as the prominent leader identical to Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the Kampala City Committee of the Uganda National Resistance Movement, said he keenly realized the extraordinary leadership of Kim Jong Un through daily prospering Korea, adding that he is envious of the Korean people led by another great man.

Directors of some companies in Malaysia said that Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a nuclear weapons state and a state that manufactures and launches satellites despite all sorts of trials and difficulties, adding that this is a great exploit performed by Kim Jong Il.
