The letter said that they paid high respects to Kim Jong Il during the memorial service and keenly realized once again that the Korean nation lived a proud and dignified life under the warm care of the great leader, the sun.

Kim Jong Il represents the eternal leader and symbol of the great Paektusan nation whom the army and people of the DPRK and all other Koreans follow and worship generation after generation for his immense feats, the letter said.

Looking up to the beaming image of Marshal Kim Jong Un full of strong grit, they enshrined the truth that only the sun can glorify the cause of the sun and that Generalissimo Kim Jong Il will live in the hearts of the Koreans for all ages, the letter added.
