The south Korean Chongju District Court held a trial on an appeal made by a transport man who had been sentenced to prison term on charges of the violation of the "Security Law" for the mere reason that he praised the DPRK.

At the trial the court tried to uphold the verdict made at the first trial by dismissing his appeal.

At that time an inhabitant present at the trial shouted "Long Live Kim Il Sung!," expressing his anger at the court's judgment.

Taken aback, the south Korean security authorities put him into custody.
