Sports Contest for Osandok Prize Closes

| Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Sports contest for Osandok Prize closed with due ceremony at the Ice Rink on Wednesday. It was opened on Dec. 12 to mark the 95th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war hero. The participants made achievements conducive to the development of the nation's winter sports. Men of the Pyongyang Railway Bureau Sports Team and women of the Taesongsan Sports Team came first respectively in the ice-hockey event. The Taesongsan Sports Team placed first in figure-skating in team standing while the Jangsan Sports Team in short-track speed skating also in team standing. |
