DPRK's Important Days Commemorated in Different Countries

Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- Various events took place in different countries on the occasion of the first anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il, the 21st anniversary of his assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army, the first anniversary of the dear respected Kim Jong Un's assumption of supreme commandership of the KPA and the 95th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk between Dec. 16 and 19. They included a photo exhibition in Russia, an opening ceremony of the Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibition in Mexico, seminar in Kyrgyzstan and film show in Thailand.

Displayed in the venues of the events were photos on the sacred revolutionary life and undying feats of Kim Jong Il.

Also on display there were famous works of the peerlessly great men, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and handiworks associated with the resourcefulness and talents of the Korean people.

Participants of the film show watched Korean film "Arms of Korea."

Cuautemoc Amezcua Dromundo, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Popular Party of Mexico, said Kim Jong Il was a peerless hero and tender-hearted father who not only devoted his whole life to the socialist cause and the cause of popular masses for independence but also loved the people very much.

A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity "Kyrgys El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan, in his speech said that the world knows no such leader as Kim Jong Il who devoted his all to the people's happiness.

The DPRK proudly ranked itself among the manufacturers and launchers of satellites and showed the world once again that the U.S. and other imperialist allied forces can never block its advance no matter how desperately they work to stifle it, he noted.
