Rodong Sinmun Friday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The release of the "white paper" is an open challenge to the domestic and foreign public opinion desirous of peace on the Korean Peninsula and improved inter-Korean relations and a serious provocation to the DPRK.

When viewing that the issue of the "white paper" was the propaganda conducted by the Lee Myung Bak group in the last year of its office, this patently indicates that its bitterness toward the fellow countrymen and its attempt to escalate confrontation remain unchanged unless it is eliminated from arena of history.

What is intolerable is that the puppet forces impudently claim the "northern limit line" is a "substantial maritime boundary line".

It is only the Lee regime that the waters south of the "northern limit line" are "waters under its control". This was prompted by its intention to escalate the confrontation with compatriots and revelation of utter ignorance of the facts.

Clear is the aims sought by it. By persistently insisting that the "northern limit line" is a "maritime boundary line", the regime seeks to spark off conflicts between the north and the south and ignite a war on the Korean Peninsula at any cost.

The south Korean puppet military warmongers would be well advised to judge with cool heads what catastrophic consequences will be entailed by their row to justify their confrontation and war moves even by denying history.
