A GI, who served in a base of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces in Chilgok, North Kyongsang Province in March last, was caught red handed while smuggling a new kind of drugs through a U.S. mail company.

The public censure of this crime compelled the puppet regime to hold a mockery of trial of the GI. But the court halved the punishment demanded very light for the accused and declared stay of execution, claiming that he deeply repented of his wrongdoings and there was harsh aspect in the punishment.

The Lee Myung Bak regime is unreasonably shielding the U.S. imperialist aggression forces who have unhesitatingly committed all sorts of crimes while mercilessly suppressing the just struggle of the south Korean people for independence, democracy and reunification.

This sycophantic behavior is touching off resentment among south Korean people.
