Officials of the party, armed forces, power bodies, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces (KPISF), officials in the fields of science, education, literature and arts, public health and media, bereaved families of revolutionary martyrs, working people and school youth and children in the city visited the statues of the great Generalissimos on Mansu Hill to pay respects.

Seen before the statues was a floral basket sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the KPA.

Laid before the statues were floral baskets in the name of the party, armed forces and power bodies, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, units of the KPA and KPISF, organs, industrial establishments, cooperative farms and schools in the city, and bouquets and flowers.

A floral basket in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front was placed before the statues.

People paid tribute to the statues of the peerlessly great men in humble reverence.

Overseas compatriots' delegations and compatriots staying in the socialist homeland and foreigners laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues.

Floral baskets in the name of institutions and organizations were laid before the statues Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and their smiling portraits in different parts of the city including Kim Il Sung Military University, Kim Il Sung Square and Mansudae Art Studio.

Service personnel, people from all walks of life and school youth and children visited the statues of the great Generalissimos and portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in provincial seats including Kanggye, Hamhung, Sinuiju and Wonsan cities and paid tribute to them.
