Reporters and speakers said Kim Jong Un's New Year Address serves as important guidelines which indicate a path of the great Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's Korea, and a banner which calls upon all the army and people to turn out in the general advance to open up a turning phase for building a thriving socialist nation.

They called on all the officials and other people to wage the general offensive to bring about a radical turn in the building of an economic giant and the improvement of the people's living standard, bearing in mind the far-reaching plan of Kim Jong Un.

They underscored the need to turn the every nook and corner of the country including streets and villages into a socialist land of bliss and build more modern cultural and welfare establishments, parks and pleasure grounds true to Kim Jong Un's plan of building a highly civilized socialist country and thus make the people lead a highly civilized life.

They called for waging dynamic struggle to glorify this year marking the 65th anniversary of the DPRK and the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War as a year of great creation and innovation, full of confidence and optimism about sure victory.
