Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea Sunday made public information bulletin No. 1018, blasting the recent remarks made by Chon Yong U, chief for diplomacy and security of Chongwadae justifying the confrontation policy pursued by traitor Lee Myung Bak. Chon, when interviewed by Munhwa Ilbo, ultra-right conservative paper, on Dec. 27 last year, blustered that "south Korea's principled policy toward the north brought about an essential change in the framework of south-north relations", "there were clashes and casualties in the course of restoring the forces for deterring the north" but "it helped take back the right to decide peace on the Korean Peninsula," "peace should not be bought by paying money to the north" and "the north made him a hard-liner." He raved that the present confrontation policy would be carried forward, jabbering that he is not "concerned much about the next regime's policy towards the north", "there is nothing fundamentally different from the present regime though the former advocated confidence and the like" and "the basic philosophy remains the same". The reckless remarks made by Chon who styles himself an architect of the "policy toward the north" in Chongwadae and a supervisor of its implementation betray the wicked true colors of traitor Lee, the bulletin said, and went on: As far as Chon is concerned, he is a typical lackey who has played the role of servant for foreign forces' colonial domination and interference, working for years in the diplomatic field of south Korea. After since he came to the liking of sycophant Lee, Chon has taken the lead in pursuing confrontation with compatriots at Chongwadae. Not content with spreading the rumor about "the collapse of the north," he committed such high treason as malignantly hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and its social system. He is a good-for-nothing as he took an active part in fabricating "the north wind" which calls for confrontation with the DPRK during the south Korean puppet presidential election. Chon, steeped in the bad habit and antipathy towards compatriots to the marrow of his bones, can never change his inveterate disposition. What Chon uttered is no more than a foolish trick to help the Lee group improve even a bit its deplorable position in which it is badly beaten at home and abroad, and give a shot in the arm of the new ruling quarters who try to keep distance from it. No one pays heed to the sophism made by human rejects that are accustomed to turn back the wheel of history by making a profound confusion of every phenomenon. This reckless move would only precipitate the miserable end of the group of traitors. Chon is bound to face the same stern punishment by the public as Lee would do. |
