The north-south relations which had made a dynamic advance under the banner of the June 15 joint declaration were driven to a catastrophic phase unprecedented in history under the rule of the Lee group, the article says, and goes on:

It is very disgusting that the Lee group branded as dregs of the times and politicians more dead than alive is getting frantic with confrontation with compatriots and moves for a war against the north, quite contrary to the aspiration of the nation and the trend of the times.

The madcap military provocations being perpetrated by the south Korean warmongers from the outset of the year are reckless actions which could be committed only by those keen to ignite a war.

The prevailing situation clearly indicates that south Korean people can escape calamities only when the Lee group is rooted out.

All Koreans should resolutely frustrate any move to escalate the confrontation which leads to a war by concerted efforts of the nation.

Any intrusion into territorial waters of the DPRK under the pretext of defending the illegal "northern limit line" and any anti-DPRK psychological warfare including kindling of the light atop Aegibong and scattering of leaflets will be frustrated by the prompt counter-attack by all the service personnel and people of the DPRK and the group of traitors is fated to go to ruin.
