Seen at the venues of the events were photos of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un on their revolutionary activities.

Put on display there were books and photos introducing the DPRK.

Participants of the film shows watched Korean films "Arms of Korea" and "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation".

The first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification said in a speech:

Kim Jong Il spent his childhood amid the flames of the Fatherland Liberation War against the U.S. imperialists' aggression.

He was the lodestar of reunification as he devoted his all to the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea, true to the behests of President Kim Il Sung.

It is certain that Korea would be reunified thanks to Kim Jong Un.

The general secretary of the Punjab Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Pakistan praised Kim Jong Il's undying contributions to the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence, adding his feats would remain forever in the hearts of the Korean people and the world progressives.

The chief of the Karachi Group of Youth and Students for the Study of Juche Idea in Pakistan said in a speech that the world witnessed Kim Jong Un's features as an outstanding leader and absolute defender of the sovereignty of the country and security of the people in a short period of one year after his assumption of the responsible post as the supreme commander of the KPA.

He made great contributions to the national prosperity and the Songun cause always accompanying Kim Jong Il on the road of Songun revolutionary leadership, the chief added.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event in Pakistan.
