The New Year address represents Kim Jong Un's steadfast will to glorify the dignity of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's Korea all over the world.

Officials of ministries and national institutions, including the Ministry of Coal Industry, the Ministry of Electric Power Industry and the General Bureau of Public Service, are working out detailed plans for this year in line with the address to bring about a radical turn in the improvement of the people's standard of living and building an economic giant. They are meeting workers at the production and construction sites to find solutions to implementing the tasks set forth in the address.

Meanwhile, people across the country are intensively studying the address at home and working sites or in the rush hours.

Seen along the streets of the country are posters carrying such slogans as "Let us leap forward higher and faster on swift horses of science and technology!" and "Let's turn Sepho tableland into large-sized stockbreeding base!" which inspire the people in their efforts to implement the tasks advanced in the address.
