Bonfire Meeting of Those Engaged in Construction of Power Station Held

Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- A bonfire meeting of members of the Paektusan Songun Youth Shock Brigade was held at the construction site of the power station on Wednesday to implement the important tasks laid down by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

The bonfire was kindled by leading and active members of the shock brigade.

Kim Sang Min, chief of the shock brigade, said that the address serves as important guidelines indicating the path to be followed by Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's Korea and a banner calling on all the servicepersons and people to come out in the general advance to bring about a landmark turn in building a thriving socialist nation.

He called upon the members of the shock brigade and other builders to effect innovations in the construction of dam of power station No. 1 and the building of power stations Nos. 2 and 3.

A poem "Our General Marshal Kim Jong Un" was recited to be followed by speeches.

The speakers expressed their resolution to display popular heroism and patriotic devotion in the construction of the power station this significant year greeting the 65th anniversary of the DPRK and the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

A chorus poem was recited to express the will of the shock brigade members to glorify their youthhood.
