S. Korean Regime Accused of Suppressing Government Employees' Union
Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) on Jan. 7 released a commentary denouncing the fascist suppression of the Government Employees' Union.

The commentary recalled that the "government" authorities have made disciplinary actions against leading members of the union since Dec. 27 last year.

The Lee Myung Bak regime has cracked down on the union for the mere reason that it admitted to the KCTU, though the former conducted legitimate activities, and hurled even police into an operation for disciplinary actions against the union, the commentary said.

This fully disclosed the intention of the present political camp to intensify the suppression of democratic trade unions while talking about "people's unity", it charged.

It urged the authorities to immediately lift the disciplinary actions against the hardcore members of the above-said union.
