KCNA Commentary Refutes Reckless Remarks Made by S. Korean Regime
Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- Chon Yong U, chief for diplomacy and security of Chongwadae of south Korea, let loose a spate of malignant invectives against the DPRK, when interviewed by the reptile paper Kukje Shinmun recently.

Chon was so ridiculous as to talk about "changes" and possible "contingency" in the DPRK. Not content with this, he made reckless remarks that "south Korea has a power to decide existence and future of the north," referring to the so-called "impact of the May 24 step."

Chon's remarks are nothing but the last-ditch efforts made by the group of traitors, much upset by the stirring situation of the DPRK that has made astonishing progress with each passing day.

Since the passing of leader Kim Jong Il, the great loss to the nation, the south Korean regime has waited for "changes" and "contingency" to take place in the DPRK. It got more frantic with the smear campaign against the DPRK's supreme leadership, spreading "story about the north's collapse".

The DPRK, however, has invariably advanced along the road of independence, Songun and socialism without any slightest change, foiling the pipedream of the hostile forces.

The world people have admired the DPRK where all the service personnel and people have won one victory after another in the drive for building a thriving socialist nation and defending the country, rallied close as one behind the great Workers' Party of Korea.

It is the Lee Myung Bak regime that faced "contingency."

Shortly after the Lee Myung Bak regime took office, the DPRK foresaw its miserable end as it sought confrontation with fellow countrymen.

As a matter of fact, the Lee regime has been denounced by all Koreans and world people for its most hideous provocation against the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and its army is keeping the regime within its strike range.

The Lee regime can never escape a miserable end, standing isolated from all sides, as it has brought extreme unrest and horror and destitution to the people through such frantic confrontation rackets as moves for war and sanctions.

This is the inevitable result of its confrontation policy.

But Chon is so stupid and ignorant that he is still talkative about "changes" and "contingency," unable to face up to stark reality.

Chon is one of arch criminals who took the lead in the Lee regime's "humiliating diplomacy" and "mendicant diplomacy" to make a mess of everything in south Korea.

He has no face to talk about "power" as he is the worst traitor who reduced south Korea to a poor colony propped up by its American master.

Lurking behind Chon's foolish remarks is a black-hearted intention to beautify Lee Myung Bak's confrontation policy and hand it over to the next regime.

The Lee regime is sadly mistaken if it calculates such sheer sophism would help it save its dirty fate in face of the might of Songun of the DPRK.

No one in this world would lend an ear to his rhetoric.

The Korean nation will surely punish such traitors as Lee Myung Bak and Chon Yong U to the last one.
