The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in their joint statement said that Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address referred to the issues of building a thriving country and achieving its reunification.

The statement expressed belief that the year 2013 would shine as a year of proud victory and glory for the DPRK.

The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association expressed full support to the address, noting it advanced the correct line and policy for fresh victory this year, clearly indicating the way of achieving Korea's reunification and building a thriving country and instilling into the world people conviction of the cause of global independence.

The Stoke-on-Trent Branch of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in its statement on Jan. 3 fully supported the address, saying that rosy is the prospect of the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of global independence thanks to Kim Jong Un's leadership.
