Oskar Molleby, chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, said:

Kim Jong Un in his address reviewed the achievements made in the DPRK last year and set forth tasks for building a thriving socialist nation this year.

He in his address called for effecting a decisive turn in building an economic giant and improving the people's living standard in 2013 with the same spirit with which Koreans manufactured and launched an application satellite of Juche, demonstrating the dignity and might of Songun Korea.

Saying that the success in economic construction should be manifested in the aspect of improving the standard of people's living, he underscored the need to direct great efforts to bolstering up the sectors and units that have a direct bearing on the people's livelihoods, and increasing production there.

His New Year Address gives conviction and hope for victory to not only the Korean people striving to build thriving socialism of Juche but the world progressive people aspiring after independence.

The chairman of the Slovenia-DPRK Friendship Association expressed full support for the part of New Year Address dealing with Korea's reunification, noting:

Kim Jong Un said that the reunification of the country is the greatest national task that brooks no further delay and was the lifelong desire and instructions of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

He stressed that in order to achieve the reunification of the country it is necessary to remove confrontation between the north and the south, thoroughly implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and solve the reunification issue by concerted efforts of the Korean nation in an independent manner.

All Koreans should resolutely reject domination and interference of foreign forces and their aggression and war moves and never allow any act of hindering Korea's reunification.
