She was subject to maltreatment and contempt as a member of stateless nation before the liberation of the country. She could lead a worthwhile life only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country.

She had worked hard for many years, true to the agricultural policy of the Workers' Party of Korea. Since she became a pensioner, she has produced a lot of meat and donated it to the country every year.

She tells her children to devote themselves to the country, saying that she enjoys a long and healthy life thanks to the socialist system built and glorified by Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.
