Miroslav Stepan, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, said that the New Year Address made by Kim Jong Un impressed world progressives when meeting with the DPRK ambassador to his country on Jan. 7.

I realized once again the noble traits of Kim Jong Un, identical to President Kim Il Sung, in his image making the address, the general secretary said, adding:

Kim Jong Un reviewed the achievements made in the DPRK last year and clearly indicated this year's tasks for the Korean people.

The Czechoslovak Communist Party is convinced that the Korean people would thoroughly carry out the tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address and thus make greater achievements in the efforts for building an economic giant and achieving national reunification.

The department director of the General Union of Syrian Peasants met an official of the DPRK embassy in Damascus on the same day.

The great victory won by the party and people of the DPRK last year is a fruition of the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, he said, adding:

The tremendous national power provides a sure guarantee for the building of an economic giant and the improvement of the people's living standard.

Rosy is the prospect of the DPRK's drive for building an economic giant.

This year will shine as a year of victory and prosperity for the DPRK led by Kim Jong Un.
