Josef Servista, secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party and member of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, said in an article posted on website on January 4 that some media never mention the great achievements made by the Korean people in various fields including science and technology, education, space development, public health, construction and electricity production under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea but are busy releasing misinformation only.

Josef Servista added:

I had an opportunity to see for myself the reality of the DPRK while visiting it.

A lot of public transport means such as metro, bus, street car and trolley bus are operating in this country.

People are leading a normal life at restaurants, shops and pleasure grounds and it is hard to find paupers or homeless people in any place.

I was deeply impressed by the parade held in celebration of the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun).

The DPRK demonstrated through the parade that its powerful army equipped with modern weapons is standing firm guard over the country.

It also has modern agriculture and food processing industry.

All this has been achieved despite economic blockade of various countries including the U.S.

I am sure that no force on earth can check socialist construction in this beautiful country.

The DPRK is registering greater successes under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and will invariably carry forward the idea of Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The manager of a Malaysian company said at round-table talks on January 7 that he became optimistic about the rosy future of the DPRK when seeing Kim Jong Un at the celebrations of the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung while visiting it for the first time.
