Skate Park Crowded with Visitors
Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- The Skate Park built on the bank of Taedong River in Pyongyang is now bustled with visitors, school youth and children in particular, despite winter season.

The park serves various kinds of roller skates as well as safety headgears and knee, elbow and hand guards.

Adults also come to enjoy themselves or to help their children with skating training.

Ju Ok Nyo, a woman living in Chongryu-dong No. 1 in Taedonggang District, told KCNA:

"Children have a good time here, staying until late at night. Many of them leave here when their parents come to bring them back home."

Some schoolchildren play a hockey game in the center of the park while others jump over hurdles in skates.

Ri Min Hyang, an employee at the park, said the park is amazing in the evening, illustrated by lights.
