Tableland Reclamation Project Makes Headway
Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- A project for turning Sepho tableland into a large stockbreeding base is progressing apace in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Taking part in the project are servicepersons and shock-brigade members of ministries, national institutions and provinces.

Over the last 20 odd days they ploughed thousands of hectares of land and dug holes for 75,000 trees to create shelterbelts.

Those from provinces have raised operation rate of vehicles, including bulldozers, hydraulic excavators and trucks in the project.

In his New Year address, the dear respected Kim Jong Un stressed that the soldiers of the People's Army and the shock-brigade members who volunteered to work at the reclamation site of Sepho tableland in response to the Party's call should achieve miraculous successes and perform heroic feats in this year's campaign to open a bright prospect for carrying the Party's grand nature-remaking plan to completion at an earlier date.

The Sepho tableland reclamation project is vast. It includes the creation of tens of thousands of hectares of grass fields, construction of hundreds of cattle, sheep, goat, rabbit and pig stables, livestock product processing facilities, reservoirs, roads and dwelling houses and building of shelterbelts in Sepho, Phyonggang and Ichon areas of Kangwon Province.
